Dr.Ranjith Ramachandran
Ranjith Ramachandran joined the Cancer Nanomedicine Group at Amrita Centre for Nanosciences and Molecular medicine for his PhD after receiving his research fellowship from the Indian Council of Medical Research in 2009. Currently he is a post-doctoral fellow at ACNSMM and working on the project "Development and pre-clinical safety evaluation of polymeric brain implant for the treatment of recurrent". Prior to joining Amrita, he completed his MSc in biotechnology from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kerala, in 2009 and Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, from Al Azhar college of Arts & Science, MG University, Kottayam.

Fabrication of implantable and injectable nano-microsystems for sustained and prolonged drug delivery, electrospinning, nano-particle mediated drug delivery, nanomedicines, photodynamic therapy, scaffolding materials for 3D tumor culture, animal models of cancer, in vitro and in vivo toxicological evaluation of nanoparticles.
