Ms. Lakshmy Ramakrishnan, MSc
Lakshmy is a PhD researcher working on Protein Nanomedicine, under the guidance of Dr Manzoor K. She completed her B.Sc (Biomedical Science) from the University of Adelaide and was awarded the Faculty of Sciences Award for Outstanding Academic Achievement. She went on to complete her M.Sc Medical Biotetchnology from Manipal University and was awarded the Late Prof. J.V. Bhat Memorial Gold Medal for the Best Outgoing Student.
The research area that she is currently focusing on is on enhancing the bioavailability of cancer therapeutics, in particular nanoformulations in treating chronic myeloid leukemia.
